The Golden Rules: How to apply your products?

  • Start with lighter textures to more thicker ones.

  Water-based then gel-based then cream-based then oils.

  • Start with a small amount and increase gradually, so the skin builds the needed skin tolerance.
  • Massage until fully absorbed, and wait 2-3 minutes between applying different serums.

Optimal Skincare Routines:

Bonus Step: Lip Care

  • Lip Balm: Don't forget to nourish and moisturize your lips.

Our Lip balm is rich in Aloe Vera oil, Almond oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Carnauba wax, Vitamin E, Tocopherol.

Tips:

  • Adapt your routine to your skin type and needs which might change with the seasons.
  • Even on cloudy days, don't skip sunscreen!
  • To cleanse with warm water note: for sensitive skin, extreme temperatures (either hot or cold) might be irritating, so lukewarm water is the best option.
  • Always dry your face with a clean, unused towel after cleansing to ensure the best hygiene.

The power of habit: maintaining a consistency in your skin care routine is key for getting optimal skin results and for protecting your skin from daily stressors.

 AloeLab Notes:

  • Peeling serums should be used only at night (Glycolic acid - Retinol - Lactic acid).
  • If Vitamin C and Niacinamide are in the same routine, use Niacinamide at night, and Vitamin C in the morning.
  • Preferably don't use Glycolic acid and Lactic acid on the same night.
  •  No need to refrigerate the products: only refrigerate vitamin C serums, retinol and hair mask during hot weather
  • Pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant : All The AloeLab products are safe to use during pregnancy excluding Retinol serums.
  • Limit sun exposure while using Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) such as, glycolic and lactic acid.

  • Purging after using exfoliators: In case of purging: It takes 3 weeks to 1 month and a half for the skin to adjust to new skincare products, and only then can you start to see results. We recommend reducing the rhythm of the use of the high percentage active products so the skin gradually builds the needed tolerance.

Tips:

  • Patch test new products.
  • Allow time for absorption between layers.
  • Adjust products as needed for seasons or changing skin needs.
  • Always dry your face with a clean, unused towel after cleansing to ensure the best hygiene

This streamlined routine still ensures thorough care and attention to your skin’s nighttime needs.
