Alpha Arbutin reduces the appearance of age spots and can help improve skin tone. It's used at a high 2% concentration versus a standard concentration of 1% and supported with Hyaluronic Acid for enhanced delivery. Alpha Arbutin is much stronger in effect than Arbutin or Beta Arbutin.

Alpha Arbutin inhibits the activity of the tyrosinase enzyme which is necessary for melanin (dark pigment) production. Melanin is produced by the skin in response to exposure to harsh sun rays and leads to darkening and pigmentation of the skin. Excess melanin on the surface of the skin leads to hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. Regular use of Alpha-arbutin will even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots.

‏Hello Aloe Lab team,rn‏Firstly, I want to express my admiration for all of your products. I’m really proud to have such an impressive Lebanese brand like yours.rn‏My question: rn‏You recommend using the alpha arbutin serum on hyperpigmentation and acne marks in the morning and at night. So, what should I do with the serum after the hyperpigmentation or acne marks fades?rnrn‏Thank you.

Hello dear, thank you so much for your feedback; we highly appreciate your support!
Using Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) in the morning and Lactic acid at night is an excellent combination to fade hyperpigmentation and acne marks.
You can also add the 2% Alpha-Arbutin + HA serum at night after the 10% Lactic acid peeling serum.

Please remember to always apply sunscreen as the last step in your morning routine, especially if you're using Lactic acid (an AHA) at night.
Hi, can u tell me how to use alpha-Arbutin, and with which products can’t mix.
+
Hello dear,
There is no contradiction between Alpha-arbutin and other skincare active.
We recommend using the Alpha arbutin serum at night before gel-based products and cream-based ones.

Please check the following rules in Cosmeceutical skincare, they may help answering in details your question:

First rule:
Always start with lighter textures to more viscous ones. Water-based then gel-based then cream-based then oils. So, for example, vitamin C (water-based) then 1.5% HA serum (gel-based) then moisturizer cream (cream-based)

Second rule:
If I have 2 water-based products, which one should I start with?
The product that targets the main concern.
For example, if we’re targeting blemishes and dark spots, but my main concern is the blemishes, I start with 10% Niacinamide (water-based) and then I apply 2% alpha-arbutin (water-based) and/or 10% Lactic acid. (water-based)

Third Rule:
If for the same concern, we have 2 products with the same viscosity (for dark spots, 2% Alpha-arbutin (water-based) and 10% Lactic acid (water-based))
We start with the product that we need to enter the skin deeply (2% Alpha-arbutin - stop melanin production deeply) and then we apply the product that works on the first layer of the skin (Lactic acid peeling)
